1. Llyn Ogwen Competition
The annual competition will take place at Llyn Ogwen on Sunday 5th of August between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. Registration at the Pen Bryn Melyn car park from 9:30.

Competition Rules
1. The lake will be closed to all anglers from one hour after sunset on Saturday 4th of August until the start of the competition; furthermore anglers not wishing to participate in the competition will not be able to fish the Lake until the competition finishes at 3:00pm.
2. The bag limit usually in effect on Llyn Ogwen will be suspended for the duration of the competition.
3. Fly and worm will be the only fishing methods allowed during the competition, No powerbait or fly with bubble float.
4. The winner in each category will be the angler who has caught the heaviest trout.
5. Entry fee - Juniors - No entry fee.
Adults £2 - Pool to be shared equally between the two winners of the adult categories
6. Prizes - Junior fly and worm categories 1st - £10 & Cup , 2nd - £7, 3rd - £5
Adult - cup for each category winner.

2. Llyn Idwal Competition
This is a new evening competition to be held at Llyn Idwal on Friday 6th of July, fishing to commence at 18:00. Registration at the lake from 17:30 onwards.
The main prize will be the Eryl Jones cup to be held for a year.

The Rules
Fly only (no bubble float)
No one to start fishing before 18:00.
The competition is open to all ages.
Entry fee - £2 (Winners pool)
The competition will be won by the angler who has caught the heaviest trout.

3. Rivers Competition
The rivers competition is open to all the Association's members as usual this year. The Thomas Alfred cup will be awarded to the angler catching the heaviest fish from the Association's rivers. If you wish to enter your catch into the competition you must have it weighed by a Committee member as soon as possible after capture.

4. Coetmor Mill
The fence behind the mill has been repaired (where there used to be a stile). Association Members are not allowed to cross this fence, anglers should use the red metal stile that crosses from the road to the field about ten meters up from the mill gate. Additionally, anglers should not park their cars in the mill car park.

5. Lease Renewal
The lease has been renewed for a further 12 years. The Estate has sold the dam on the Afon Galedffrwd (Rocar), therefore, membership of the Association does not give an angler the right to fish the part of the river that lies between the footbridge that crosses the river by 'Yr Ocar' to where the river runs under the B4409 by the Bradite factory.

6. Annual General Meeting
The Annual General meeting will be held at Canolfan Cefnfaes on November 28th, at 7:15 p.m.
If any member has a matter that they wish to be raised at the meeting they should send the details by letter to the Secretary to reach him no later than two weeks prior to the meeting.
